Caroline joined Polyphony Arts in 2021, having previously worked for Hazard Chase as Assistant Artist Manager in the Vocal Department. Caroline is a singer and choral conductor, and has enjoyed performing at the BBC Proms and World Choir Games, and was a guest conductor for Sandi Toksvig’s live show at the Women of the World Festival. Caroline has lectured at the universities of Reading and Leeds, and has been a member of Music staff at the cathedrals of Leeds and Bradford. She has devised and led singing projects for English National Opera, Opera North, English Touring Opera, Mahogany Opera and the Voices Foundation amongst others.
Caroline enjoys a wide range of music from jazz and bluegrass to gospel and folk, and specialises in operatic and vocal repertoire. She particularly enjoys working with composers both as a manager and a performer.
When she isn’t making music, Caroline enjoys rowing and yoga. During the coronavirus pandemic she wore various hats as an NHS receptionist, a food delivery volunteer, and a florist – but she is glad to be firmly rooted in the Music world again!
